I nspect t h e cylinder bore wall for any scratches or other
damage.
Inspect the piston surface for scratches or other d a m ag e .
Inspect the primary c u p for damage.

R E M O U N T I N G
Reassemble a n d remo u nt the master cyl inder i n t h e reverse
order of removal and d isassembly, and also c arry out the
fol lowing step s :
CAUTION :
Wash the master cylinder components with fresh brake fluid
before reassembly. Never use cleaning solvent or gasoline
to wash them . Apply brake fluid to the cylinder bore and

all internals to be inserted into the bore .
Reassemble a n d rem o u nt the master cyl inder. (Refer to
page 6- 2 3 . )
CAUTION :
Bleed air after reassembling the m aster cylinder. ( Refer to
page 2- 1 2 . )
