Loosen the front fork u pper and lower c l a m p bolts and
remove the front fork.
NO TE:
Slightly loosen the front fork cap bolt facilita te later disas­
sembly, before loosening the lower clamp bolt.

Remove the cap bolt and sprin g .
•
•
I nvert the fork and stroke it several times t o l et o u t fork
oil .
Under the condition (inverted condition ) , hold the fork
for a few minutes .

Remove t h e boot .

Loosen the damper rod bolt with the special tool s .

Remove the d a m pe r rod from the o uter tube.

Remove the d ust sea l CD.
Remove the oil seal stopper ring @.
CAUTION :
The removed dust seal and oil seal should be replaced .
