CAUTION :
Be sure to identify each removed part as to its location, and
lay the parts out in groups designated as "Exhaust" and "In­ •
let" , so that each will be restored to the original location

during assembly.
Remove the d e-cam p . cable bracket CD.
•
Remove the de-cam p . shaft
Remove the intake and exhaust rocker arm shaft set bolts .
•
Remove the i ntake and exhaust rocker a rm shafts with
a 6 mm bolt.

CYLI N D E R HEAD COVER D I STO RTI O N
After removing sealant from the fitting surface o f the cyl inder
head cover, place the cylinder head cover on a surface plate
and check for distortion with a thickness gauge. Check
poi nts are shown i n photograph.
Service Limit : 0.05 m m (0.002 in)
If the distortion exceeds the l i mit, repl ace the cyl inder h ead
cover.
