Place the front fork vertically with fu l l compressed po-

sitio n .
F o r the fork o i l , be sure t o u s e a front fork o i l whose vis­
cosity ratin g meets specifications bel ow.
Fork oil type : Fork oil # 1 0

99000-99044- 1 0G : SUZUKI FORK OIL # 1 0
Hold the front fork vertical and adjust the fork oil level
with the special too l .
Oil level : 1 45 m m ( 5 . 7 i n )

NO TE:
When ad justing the oil level, remo ve the fork spring and com­

press the inner tube fully.
FORK SPRING
I nstal l the fork spring as shown in p hotogra p h .
NO TE:
Close-pitch end of spring should position bottom.

FRONT FORK REMOUNTING
When i nstalling the front fork assembly, align the line
on the inner tube to the upper surface of the steering stem
u pper bracket @.
