CALI P E R A N D D I S C I N S PECTI O N
Inspect the caliper cylinder bore wall for nicks, scratches
or other d a m a g e .
I nspect each piston f o r d a m a g e and wear.
I nspect each rubber part for damage a n d wear.
Check the d isc for wear with a micrometer. Its thickness
can be checked with d isc and wheel i n place. Replace the
d isc if the thickness exceeds the service l imit.

Service Limit : 3 . 0 mm (0. 1 2 in)
09900-20205 Micrometer (0 - 25 m m )
With t h e d isc mounted on the wheel , check t h e d isc for face
runout with a d ia l gauge, as shown .
Replace the d isc if the runout exceeds the service limit.

Service Limit : 0 . 30 mm (0. 0 1 2 in)
09900-20606 : Dial gauge ( 1 /1 00 m m )
