OVERSIZE OIL RINGS
The following two types of oversize oil rings are used , They
bear the following identification marks .

J ust measure outsid e d i a meter to identify the side rail as
there is no mark or n u m ber on it.
PIST O N PI N A N D PIN BO R E
Using a caliper gauge, measure the piston p i n bore inside
d iameter, and using a m icrometer measu re the piston pin
outside d i a mete r . If the d ifference between the these two
measurements is more than the li mits, replace both piston
and piston pin .
