Remove t h e valve g u ide with the special tool .
099 1 6-443 1 0 Valve guide remover
•
Re-finish the valve g uide holes in cyl inder head with a
1 0 . 8 m m reamer and handle.

Fit a ring to each valve guide. Be sure to use new rings
and valve guides. Rings and valve guides removed in dis­
•
sassembly m ust be d iscarded .
:
Lu bricate each valve guide a n d d rive the guide into the
guide hole with a valve guide i nstaller.

After fitting valve guides, re-finish their guiding bores with
a 5 . 0 mm reamer and handle. Be sure to clean and oil
the g uides after rea m i n g . :
099 1 6-34570 : 5 . 0 m m reamer
099 1 6-3454 1 Handle
•
I nstal l the valve spring seat CD. Be careful not to confuse
the l ower seat with the spring retainer @ .
