FORK SPRING
Measure the fork spring free length , If it is shorter that the
service l imit, replace it.
Service Limit : 608 m m (23.9 in)
REAS S E M B LY A N D R E M O U N T I N G
Reassemble and remount the front fork i n the reverse order •
of removal and d isassembly, and also c arry out the follow­
ing steps:

I n sta l l the fro nt fork. ( Refer to page 6- 1 0 . )
INNER T U BE M ETAL
Insta l l the metal by hand as show n .
CAUTION :
Use special care to prevent damage to the "Teflon" coat­

ed surface of the Anti-friction metal when mounting it.
OUTER T U BE M ETAL, WASHER AND O I L SEAL
I n stal l the outer tube metal G)' washer @ a n d oil seal

with the special tool .

OIL SEAL STOPPER RING AND DUST SEAL
I nsta l l the oil seal stopper ring @.

CAUTION :
Make sure that the oil seal stopper ring fitted securely.
I n sta l l the d u st seal ® .

DAMPER R O D BOLT/COMPRESSION DAMPING ADJUSTER
Tig hten the d a mper rod bolt to the s pecified torque with
