CAUTION :
Do not attempt to remove the bolts, right and left . Swin­
garm is not disassembly.
CUSHION LEVER
Inspect the respective cushion lever bearings by hand while
they are i n the cushion l ever.
Rotate each bearing s pacer to i nspect for abnormal noise
and smooth rotation. Replace the bearing if there is a nything •
unusua l . I n s pect the d ust seal s . If they are found to be
damaged, replace them with new ones .

Remove the d ust seals and spacers .
Remove the bearings with the special tools and proper

I nspect the swingarm pivot shaft runout with the dial gauge.
The swingarm pivot shaft must be replaced if the runout ex­
ceeds the l i mit .
