Th 1 303: Apply THREAD LOCK SUPER

Tightening torque

REM OVAL
Remove the frame covers, seat and fuel tan k.
•
Drain engine oil.
•
Remove the T . O . C . inspection plug and magneto cover cap.
•
Turn the crankshaft counter clockwise to set the position
•
at T . O . C . on the compression stroke.
• Remove the chain tensioner.
Remove the intake and exhaust valve inspection caps.
•
Remove the cylinder head cover.
•
• Remove the camshaft end cap .
Flatten the lock washers a n d remove the camshaft sprock­
•
et bolts .
Remove the sprocket and camshaft/auto-decompression
•
assembly.
CAUTION :
Do not attempt to disassemble the camshaft/automatic de­
compo assembly. It is not serviceable.
