Measure the d i ameter of rocker arm shaft with a microteter .
Standard : 1 1 .9 73 - 1 1 . 984 mm(0 .47 1 4 - 0 .47 1 8 in)
09900-20205 : Micrometer (0 - 25 mm)

When checking the valve rocker arm , the inside d i a m eter
of the valve rocker a rm a n d wear of the camsha f t contact­
ing surface should be checked .
Standard : 1 2 .000 - 1 2 .0 1 8 mm (0.4724 - 0 . 47 3 1 in)

Apply S U ZU K I M O LY PASTE to the rocker arm shafts .
•
99000-25 1 40 : SUZUKI MOLY PASTE
Insert the rocker arm shafts with their threaded hole end
positioned outside .
•
Tighten each roc ker arm sh aft bolts t o the s pecified
torque.
Tightening torque : 2 5 - 30 N ' m
( 2 . 5 - 3 . 0 kg-m, 1 8 . 0 - 2 1 . 5 Ib-ft)
NOTE:
Use new gasket on the set bolt CD.

Apply S U Z U K I M O LY PASTE to the d e-co m p o shaft.
99000-251 40 : SUZUKI MOLY PASTE
After inserting the d e-cam p . shaft, tighten its bolt to the
specified torq u e .
Tightening torque : 8 - 1 2 N ' m
(0.8 - 1 . 2 kg-m,6 .0 - 8 . 5 Ib-ft)
NO FE:
Use new gasket @ on the set bolt.
