The upper part of the Results Polarity Check card (Figure 8-7) displays the
following values:
Value
Description
Output
Internally measured current value and phase of the output
1
signal.
Sec
Voltage measured at input "Sec".
The higher the resistance of the wiring checked or the current
amplitude set on the CT Analyzer, the higher the terminal
voltage generated by the injected current signal.
This input is considered as the phase reference, therefore the
phase is always 0.
Prim
Value and phase of the voltage measured at input "Prim".
Input "Prim" is not used for the Polarity Check measurement
type.
1. Select the display mode for the current or voltage value using the soft keys: RMS, DC, Peak+
(highest positive peak value) or Peak- (highest negative peak value).
The lower part of the Results Polarity Check card (Figure 8-7) displays some
quantities of the injected polarity check signal. In this area, you can freely define
which quantity each single field should display.
Figure 8-7 shows the Results Polarity Check card with the default selection for
the fields.

Use the cursor keys to move the cursor to a field and then select the quantity to
be displayed in this field using the available soft keys. Please refer to page 143
(Advanced Measurement type) for a detailed description of the available
quantities (soft keys).
