Short Guide for Multi-Ratio CT Testing Using the CT SB2
Operating burden and cos ϕ of the tap in use.
Burden
cos ϕ
If the value of the connected operating burden is available,
enter the values to these fields. If you measure the burden
during the CT test using the burden measurement function of
the CT Analyzer, these fields are filled automatically.
If you do not set any value in these fields, the CT Analyzer
automatically uses the same values as for the nominal
burden.
Note: Depending on the selected standard and CT type, other or further CT
data may be necessary for a correct assessment. If the "Check "*" settings
before start" option is enabled in the default test settings of the CT Analyzer,
all parameters that are required for assessment are marked by a star "*" in
the CT-Object card. For more detailed information, please refer to the
CT Analyzer User Manual.
3. Display the MR-Config. card (see Figure 4-2) and configure the multi-ratio
CT test according to your CT under test.

Select the overall number of tap connections available on

If the number of taps selected is 5 or 3, the CT Analyzer
offers soft keys with predefined CT ratios when the "I-pn"
field is selected in the CT-Object card.
Note: The default number of taps can be set in the device
settings of the CT Analyzer, see chapter 5 on page 33.
