5.
Set CvtFltr to Enabled, if the protected line has CVT.
This will prevent the overreaching effect of the CVT transients.

Calculating settings for zone 1

1.
Set TimerSelZ1 to Timers separated by default.
This means that phase to ground and phase to phase measuring loops will have
independent timers depending on their respective start signals.
This default setting can be changed to other options depending on the co-ordination
requirement in the system.
Timers linked will start all measuring loops timers if any one of the measuring
loop has picked up. But the trip will be released only if particular loop start
signal is high.
Internal start will make all measuring loop timers of that zone start counting
time if any one of the 5 zones have been picked up. But the trip will be released
only if particular loop start signal is high of that zone.
To set TimerSelZ1 to Start from PhSel, DirModeZ1 need to be Forward and
MhoCharZ1 need to be Directional. The trip will only be released if
ZDNRDIR gives forward direction and phase selection logic FMPSPDIS or
FDPSPDIS gives start for the particular phase. Trip time will be calculated
from the PhSel start signal.
External start will start all trip timers if the external start signal EXTNST is
high.
2.
Set DirModeZ1 to Forward
3.
Set Z1 to 15.000 Ω
The reach of zone 1 is normally set to 85 % of the line impedance. See figure 7. This
setting will be used by mho and quadrilateral characteristics as reach setting. Z1Rev
setting will not be used by both the quadrilateral and mho characteristics if
DirModeZx is Forward.
