Only settings that need adjustment due to the specific application are
described in setting examples. It is recommended to keep the default
values for all settings that are not described. Refer to Technical manual for
setting tables for each protection and control function.
Refer to setting guideline section in Application manual for guidelines on
how to set functions that are not presented in setting examples.
Use parameter setting tool in PCM600 to set the IED according to
calculations for the particular application.

Calculating general settings for analogue TRM inputs 4I 1I 5U

The transformer module (TRM) has the capability of 4 current inputs (tapped to 1 or 5 A),
one current input (tapped 0.1 or 0.5 A) and 5 voltage inputs.
The line phase current CTs (three phase current transformer group) are connected to inputs
1 – 3 (A,B,C).
The residual current CT of a parallel line can be connected to input 4 (IN, COMP).
The residual current CT of the protected line can be connected to input 5 (IN). This input
has lower rated current enabling sensitive ground fault detection.
The line voltage transformer VTs are connected to inputs 6 – 8 (A,B,C).
The busbar voltage transformers (busbar 1 and 2) can be connected to inputs 9 – 10 (one
phase input phase-to-ground or phase-to-phase)
Set the current transformers inputs as follows:
