Self-Test Results Messages

The results of the last power-on or reset self-test appear in the middle column of
the System and Test Status screen.

failed internal testing.
CPU CPLD Fail The Complex Programmable
Logic Device serving the
Central Processing Unit

data on the full data path test.
DeviceFailed One or more of the unit's
integrated circuits has failed
device-level testing.
DSL The DSL framer for Ports
Framer x Fail 1–4 (Framer A) or
5– 8 (Framer B) failed.

The DSL transceiver failed

DSX-1 Failed, Pt n The unit failed to internally
loop data on the DSX-1
