Operation principle

The function can be enabled and disabled with the Operation setting. The
corresponding parameter values are "On" and "Off".
The operation of trip circuit supervision can be described by using a module
diagram. All the modules in the diagram are explained in the next sections.

Trip circuit supervision generates a current of approximately 1.0
mA through the supervised circuit. It must be ensured that this
current will not cause a latch up of the controlled object.
