Base Settings

The procedures below describe the base settings of the handset.

Manage Handsets

The sub-sections below describe how to rename and de-register a handset.

31.1.1 Renaming the Handset

By default, your handset name is "DECT". You can assign a different name to your
handset. The handset name is displayed on the main screen in idle state.

To rename the handset:
1. Press the Menu softkey.
2. Press the

6. Using the alphanumerical keypad, enter the required name for the handset. Press the
Clear softkey to delete characters to the left of the cursor or press and hold the Clear
softkey to delete the whole character string.
7. Press the OK softkey to save the new name; the handset name is saved and "Saved"
is displayed.
