Bluetooth

The device gateway supports Bluetooth. The sub-sections below describe Bluetooth
functionality.

9.10.1 Pairing Mobile Devices to Device using Bluetooth

Before connecting the device to a mobile device through Bluetooth, note the following:

The procedure below shows how to pair the device gateway to mobile devices using
Bluetooth.
To pair the mobile device:
1.
In the 'Voice Over IP' screen, access the Bluetooth tab; the following screen appears.

Under the Bluetooth group, select the Enabled check box to enable the device.
3.
By default the 'Bluetooth Name' is "MP264" and the 'PIN' is "1234". You can change
these values if you wish.

The mobile device should be in the same room as the device.
The mobile device should be not more than four meters (line of sight) from
the device.
The mobile device and the device should be placed in areas where mobile
coverage is reasonable for regular mobile calls, without call failures or
voice interference.
