Configuring the MediaPort 200 for External AEC

The MediaPort 200 can be connected to an audio processor (such as an Extron DMP 128)
that provides Acoustic Echo Cancellation (AEC). AEC cancels potential echo that can result
during signal transmission back and forth between the near and far end. For example, you
might want to do this if you are using a the MediaPort in a conference room with a large
table and multiple microphones. See
In order for an AEC processor to be used with the MediaPort, you must connect the two
devices and change the
enumerate to the host PC as having its own external AEC processor.
Configure the MediaPort for external AEC as follows (see
