Connecting a 5-pole CSR 6 Adapter to the Line Level Audio Output
Connector
USB connector — Connect a USB type A to type B cable from this USB B port to a
G
USB A port of a computer (PC or Mac) for video and audio input and output.
The USB output supports audio and video that can be connected directly to a PC or
a Mac running one or more Unified Communications (UC) software video conferencing
devices. The rear panel USB 2.0 output port streams video in the format MJPEG 422
(the default) or MJPEG 420, selectable via the LCD menu (see
page 36, SIS commands (see the
or the PCS configuration software (see the program help file).
This connector provides audio send and return, which allows audio from the connected
computer to be input to the MediaPort and mixed into the audio outputs without a
separate analog connection.
Reset LED — This green LED lights steadily while power is on. While the reset button
H
is being pressed and held, it blinks the number of times to indicate the reset mode.
Reset button — Using an Extron Tweeker (a small screwdriver provided with your
I
system), a pointed stylus, or a ballpoint pen, press this recessed button for manual
resets. The unit has three modes of reset (see
information).
LAN port — Plug an Ethernet cable into this RJ-45 jack to connect the unit
J
to your computer network. Ethernet control allows you to configure and control the
MediaPort from a remote location using SIS commands, the PCS software, or the
embedded web pages. When connected to an Ethernet LAN, the MediaPort 200 can
be accessed from a computer running a standard Internet browser. Use a patch cable
to connect the MediaPort to a switch or router. Use a straight-through cable to connect
it directly to your computer.
This connector contains two LEDs (see the illustration at right):
Act LED — This amber LED blinks to indicate LAN signal activity.
Link LED — This green LED lights steadily to indicate a LAN connection.
