User Image Presets

Input (user image) presets save only the picture control settings for the current input. The
video input has 16 available user image presets to which you can save settings. You can
recall a user image preset using the menus on the LCD screen (see
on page 29), an SIS command (see the
page 56) or the PCS control software (see the program help file).
NOTE: To set the preset name, use an SIS command (see the
Name commands
file).
The following settings are saved in a user image preset:
Preset name
Contrast
Brightness
Horizontal position
Saved user image presets can be recalled and applied to the current input using the LCD
menus, the PCS control software, or SIS commands. When a user image input preset is
recalled, it fills the output raster based on the sizing and positioning that it had at the time it
was saved.
Saving a user image preset when using a matrix switcher
User image presets enable you to place a matrix switcher with multiple sources upstream
from the MediaPort 200 to expand the number of input video sources.
When using the MediaPort with a matrix switcher, do the following to save a preset:
1.
Switch each input of the matrix to the MediaPort.
2.
Configure each input: size, position, brightness, and contrast. (The preset name is
stored automatically as part of the preset and can be modified by SIS commands or the
PCS software.)
3.
Save the settings to a preset for recall by the control system when that matrix input is
routed to the HDMI input.
