Overview

The sample setup in this chapter illustrates how to use IAS (Internet Authentication
Service) to authenticate customer logins on the CN3000.

Prerequisites

Software
• Windows 2000 Server or Advanced Server (with Service Pack 3), and all
• Internet Explorer 6.0 service pack 1
Hardware
• a network hub
• a second network hub or a cross-over cable
• two computers capable of running Windows 2000 Professional, Server or Advanced

• a third computer with a JavaScript-enabled web browser, with either a wireless
