Users

Open the Security > Users page.

Local user list

Use the session timeout setting to control the maxium session length for the local user.
The local user list lets you authenticate users without defining a RADIUS account for
them. The usernames you define here are authenticated locally by the CN3000 without
contacting the RADIUS server.
Add new user
Fill in the name, password, and confirm password fields, then specify an idle timeout (in
seconds). If the user's session remains idle for this length of time they are automatically
logged out. Click Add to add the new user.
The idle timeout lets you control how long a local user can be idle before the CN3000
terminates their connection. If the idle timeout is set to '0", it is disabled. This means that
the local user will not be disconnected regardless of how long their connection remains
idle.
Current users
Displays the set of users that can login to the CN3000.
