2. Wind the fixed bead end of the cable around the
pulley five turns clockwise, from the rear toward
the front side.

3. Wind the hook end of the cable around the pulley
five turns counterclockwise, from the front toward
the rear side.
NOTE
• Make sure that no part of the cable rides on the
other.

4. Slip the Cable Holding Jig onto the pulley to
secure the cable in position.

5. Position the round bead of the Scanner Drive
Cable in the pulley as shown.
NOTE
• Make sure that the bead snugly rests in the slit in
the pulley.

6. Wind the fixed bead end of the cable around the
pulley five turns clockwise, from the front toward
the rear side.
