Avviamento del Motore

Immediately release the "UP",
"DOWN" and "R" levers after the
gearshift request. A long maneuver
would activate the failure warning
light (B) and the alarm signal.
Do not operate the system with the
engine off in order to prevent the
battery from discharging.
Also avoid useless sequences of gear-
shifting with the engine turned off in
order to prevent the pump from over-
heating.
Starting the Engine
• Ensure that the parking brake is
engaged and that the doors are
closed.
• Keep the brake pedal pressed down
when starting up the engine.
• Do not press down the accelerator
pedal.
• Put the gearshift in neutral, pulling
both the "UP" and "DOWN" levers
towards the steering wheel. Check
to ensure that the engaged gear dis-
play indicates "N" and that the lat-
ter is not flashing.
• Turn the ignition key to the "II"
position and wait for the multi-func-
tion display to show the "
