After the chassis is installed in the rack or cabinet, you can install the four cable guards.
The cable guards protect the PIC and CIP cables from rubbing against the front edges
of the chassis.
To install the cable guards (see Figure 33 on page 69):
Place one of the upper cable guards over one of the front-mounting flanges of the

chassis, aligning the top of the cable guard with the top of the flange. Each of the
three captive screws on the guard should be aligned with a corresponding standoff
on the flange.
Tighten each of the three captive screws partway on the cable guard.

Tighten each of the three captive screws completely.
