To power off a Services Router, do one of the following:
Press and release the power button. The router begins gracefully shutting
down the operating system and then powers itself off.
Press the power button and hold it for more than 5 seconds. The router
immediately powers itself off without shutting down the operating system.
To remove power completely from the router, unplug the power cord. The
power button on the Services Router is a standby power switch. If the router is
connected to an AC power source receptacle when you press the power button
to power the router off, the router remains in standby mode and a small amount
(5 V and 3.3 V) of standby voltage is still available in the chassis.
