Step 4 Remove the encoder.
Remove the two screws (M4) holding the encoder to remove it from the housing.
Step 5 Replace the encoder.
Remove the metal fixture and the gear wheel attached to the encoder. Put them onto the new
encoder and put the encoder back into the unit. After replacing the encoder, follow the
disassembly procedure in the reverse order. Do not forget to tighten the bolts or screws, and
make sure that the cables are connected.
