8. Connect the power supply connector to the Base Station power
connector.

Inserting the connector in the wrong direction may damage the
plug-top power supply and the Base Stations.
Orient the power supply connector in the proper direction and push
it into place securely (see the following illustration).

9. Plug the power supply into the ac outlet. The green light turns on
and the red light flashes (if not, see "Troubleshooting a Base
Station" in the troubleshooting section).
10. Record the associated Controller port number in the space
provided on the printed label affixed on the lower right corner of
the mounting bracket.
Note: Include the labeling information for each Base Station on
the completed installation floor plans and the
COMPANION 200 Programming Record for later
reference.
11. Slide the cover onto the bracket, using the guide to position it
properly. Snap it into place.
