Note.
Nortel recommends that all clients that are using WMS Services be closed before
you stop the services. If a WLAN Management Software client is using a network plan on
WMS Services when you stop the services, you cannot select objects or options in the
client. In this case, to close the client, click the X in the upper right corner of the window or
use Task Manager to end the client session.
Starting or Stopping WLAN Management Software Services on
Windows Systems
You can start WLAN Management Software Services from within WLAN Management Software or from
Windows Services.

Display the Services window. Here is an example of the Services window in Windows XP. (The
window might look different on your system.)

Scroll down and select WLAN Management Software Services.

Select the Start or Stop option.

Close the Services window.

Within WLAN Management Software, enable it to access the service. (See
WMS Services".)
