WLAN Management Software displays a single fault management table that allows you to view all fault-related infor-
mation, including the fault's functional area and severity, a description of the fault, the source of the fault WSS, its
current state, and tasks –including alarm management, resolutions, and reports.
For each fault event, WLAN Management Software provides additional information such as the cause, fault object, and
event history. The overall status, which is a consolidation of the operational status and fault severity, displays at the
appropriate physical or logical entity in the monitoring view.
Click on a fault event, and an information pane will appear at the bottom of the Alarms panel. WLAN Management
Software displays the Alarm Details view by default, as shown in the screen below. The Alarm Details view provides
additional information regarding a specific fault that does not appear in the tabular form, such as State, Time Created,
Last Updated By, Generated By, Transmitter MAC Address, SSID, and Number of Events.
The Events tab in the information pane provides additional details about a specific alarm, as shown in the screen below.
