Processing Certificates

When WLAN Management Software client connects to WLAN Management Software Services or to a WSS
that presents a certificate that is unknown to WLAN Management Software client, the Certificate Check dialog
box appears. The dialog shows information about the certificate and allows you to accept or reject the certifi-

Before WLAN Management Software can communicate with the WSS or WLAN Management Software
Services over a secure HTTPS connection, you must specify how to deal with the certificate required for
secure communication.
Note.
The options you select in this dialog box apply to all HTTPS connections with the
WLAN Management Software client. For example, the WLAN Management Software client
also checks the validity of certificates presented by WLAN Management Software Services,
and the settings you select in this dialog affect those connections too.
