Organizer panel
Content panel
The network plan is the workspace in WLAN Management Software you use to design and manage a Nortel network.
The network plan defines the following:
Network equipment (WSSs, APs, and third-party access points)
Network site, including floor plans, RF characteristics of the floors, and radio coverage
You can use the planning tool to define the network site and add the equipment based on coverage and capacity needs.
Alternatively, you can add new or existing switches and access points individually.
Planning and equipment configuration, and network management, are described in detail in other chapters of this
manual. This chapter describes the WLAN Management Software user interface.
