Modules are not hot swappable.

Instructions for Installing the IQ 710 Network and Dial Backup Interface Modules

Step
1. Power off the unit.
2. Remove the cover plate from the appropriate option slot of the IQ 710 rear panel.
3.
Slide the Option Module into the option slot until the module is firmly seated against the front of the
chassis.
4.
Secure the tabs at both edges of the module.
5.
Connect the cables to the associated device(s).
6.
Complete installation of remaining modules and Base Unit as specified in the appropriate sections of this
Network Turnup Procedure.
7.
Power on the unit.
