S400 Series Upgrade Introduction

Ⅰ. ECU Upgrade：
1．The .ecu document is no more than 1MB. Copy this document then save it in the root
catalogue of USB disk. Do not use it if it is not completely downloaded.
2．Plug the U-disk into the USB connector which behind the printer's LCD screen, and then
enter the menu of "Message Store".
Enter "Message store", select "Program update". As below：
The parameter zone will display all the message can be chosen in U-disk. Use
"Direction Key" to select the file.
3．Press "Ok" and the printer will update automatically. The process bar in the left up corner of
the screen will display the follows: "Reading USB disk", "Saving data", "Printer is off". The
process will last for about 20 seconds. Then please shut down and restart the printer.
4．Electricity cannot be cut off during the updating, or else the printer will not be able to be
turned on normally.
5．Press left/right adjust key to "Main Menu-2", and enter "System Setup" after finishing the
updating.
6．Press left adjust key to "System Setup-2"
7．Press "Software Version" to read the version of the software.
