500-Hour Maintenance
Check recovery filter
Check circulation
and make-up filters
This section describes the procedures that should be completed
every 500 hours of printer operation. Refer to Table 6-3 below for
a list of the procedures in this section and the page numbers to
turn to for the description of each procedure.
Procedure
Check recovery filter
Summary: Inspect the vacuum filter for an
accumulation of liquid every 500
hours of running time.
Check circulation and make-up filters
Summary: Inspect the circulation and make-up
filters every 500 hours, replace the
flat filter if necessary.

Note: *A feature in the <System Setup / System Status> called
"Ink jet Time" enables you to quickly access the number of
hours the printer has been in use. Refer to Chapter 5, Ink
Jet Printer Operation, for more information about it.
Inspect the vacuum filter for an accumulation of liquid every 500
hours of running time. Find out the correct location refer to
Figure 6-6.
The system will not reach or maintain proper vacuum if there are
some impurities in the recovery filter, replacement is necessary in
this condition.
Inspect the circulation and make-up filters every 500 hours.
Replace the flat filter if necessary.
