This chapter contains the recommended preventive maintenance
schedule. Following the recommendations provided in this
schedule will help you keep your printer in peak operating
condition, help you become familiar with how the printer works,
and may help you more quickly identify the cause of problems
when they occur.

Ink maintenance is the term given to the procedures which
describe the following processes:
Prime fluid
Auto Flush
Flushing System
Drain Fluid
Flushing Viscosimeter
Flow time Calibration
Preparing the printer for storage
Setting the nozzle drive
Changing ink (new type of ink)
Each of these procedures is detailed in this chapter. Refer to the
page number listed below.
