Trouble Shooting
Phasing Fault
After the printer status at "Printer is ready", if the PCU detect the signal from
gutter sensor is unusual, the printer just displays the "Phasing fault" message on
the screen and will shut down automatically.
Type
1. "Nozzle Drive" setup is
not correct.
2. Caused by ink flow time
fault or out of expire
date.
3. Unstable
power of the system.

4. The
detects wire, gutter, and
ground wire of power
supply, PDU or PCU
board is failure.
* The possible causes for this fault are listed in the order in which they are most likely to occur.
Cause*
Perform "Nozzle Drive Setup" procedure again (Refer
to Chapter 6, Maintenance.)
Perform the "Flow Time Calibration" procedure. (Refer
to Chapter 6, Maintenance)
recovery Check recovery system, cleaning or replace recovery
Check the printer with follow steps to solve problem:
nozzle, recovery
filter if necessary.
Clean the print head.
Check the ground wire of the power supply.
Check the ground connections on recovery detect
wire.
Check the connection between print head and PDU
board.
Back wash the nozzle.
Clean the gutter.
Replace the PDU or PCU board.
Remove strong interference source nearby the
printer.
