Fault is enabled after the high voltage power supply is turned on
and the printer status is "Printer is ready" or "Printer is ready to
print".
Cause*
A short has occurred in the printhead
due to ink accumulation on the H.V.
electrode or high humidity environment.
The sensitivity of high voltage power
supply needs setup again.
The dual high voltage power supply is
failure.
The connection between H.V. power
supply and PDU is unusual.
The program voltage from the PCU, PDU
board to the HV supply has failed.
While the printer is power on, if the fluid level is higher than 2/3 of
the tank, 'Ink overfilled' fault will be displayed in the fault report
zone, and the printer will shutdown immediately (Shut off all the
solenoids). You can't start up the printer until this fault did not
exist anymore.
Cause*
Ink tank overfilled.
Make-up adding solenoid leakage.
ISI setup is not correct.
After the printer is power on, ECU, PCU, ICU and IOU board must
communicate with each other. If there is any of them has fault
when communicating, "Communication fault" will be displayed in
the fault report zone of the screen and the printer will shutdown
immediately (Shut off all the solenoids). You can't start up the
printer until this fault remedy.
Cause*
The connection is broken.
The ECU, PCU, ICU or IOU board is
defective.
Program disorder.
Clean the printhead and dry it
thoroughly.
Adjust sensitivity set up of relay on
H.V. power supply.
Replace the high voltage power
supply.
Connect the connector again.
Replace the PCU or PDU board.
Discharge some ink to low down the
ink level lower than 2/3 of the tank.
Check and clean make-up adding
solenoid, replace it if necessary.
Contact your nearest Saturn
distributor.
Check for all wirings between ECU,
PCU, ICU and IOU board.
Replace them if necessary.
Restart the printer or update the
program to the latest version.
