Rear Strut Assembly Components - Suzuki Liana RH413 Service Manual

2C-6 Rear Suspension:
Stabilizer Joint
1) Check for smooth rotation.
2) Inspect ball stud for damage.
3) Inspect dust cover for damage.
NOTE
Stabilizer joint (1) cannot be disassembled.
If there is any damage to either, stabilizer joint
assembly must be replaced as a complete unit.

Rear Strut Assembly Components

1. Strut upper cap
2. Strut upper nut
3. Strut support
4. Spring upper seat
5. Spring (rubber) seat 10. Strut
NOTE
• Strut bracket nut (for 12.9 strength bolt) is pre-coated with friction stabilizer and provided with
marks indicating the strength class. Never reuse this nut to prevent it from loosening. Be sure to
replace nut with a new one whenever loosening once.
• Be sure to use a bolt and nut in the right combination which is specified.

8. Coil spring 13. Strut bracket bolt: Insert from vehicle front side.
9. Spring lower seat 14. Stabilizer joint nut

: Tightening torque
[A]: 8.8 strength bolt & nut
[B]: 12.9 strength bolt & nut (See NOTE.)
: Do not reuse.
