4.2 Initial Operation
WARNING
Risk of suffocation.  Packaging  materials  must  be  kept 
out of reach of children.
All  components  must  be  checked  for  completeness  and 
functionality (see Figure 2) prior to initial operation. Before 
the  power  wheelchair  can  be  switched  on,  the  80  A  fuse 
must be inserted into the fuse holder at the rear of the bat-
tery case (see Figure 4).

To do so, remove the fuse from the protective cover on the 
control panel, open the cover of the fuse holder, and insert 
the fuse.
Make  sure  that  the  fuse  is  pressed  into  the  centre  of  the 
spring  contacts  and  that  it  is  not  positioned  at  an  angle. 
Close the cap until you feel it snap back into place.
