7.1.3 Electric Back Angle Adjustment
INFORMATION
For safe operation, please also observe the information in
Section 2.3 "General Safety Information" and Section 2.5
"Safety Requirements for Operation".
The back rest can be equipped with an electric back angle
adjustment option (see Figure 32). It is controlled by the joy-
stick in "additional function" mode or by the push button
module.
The backrest can be inclined backwards continuously by up
to 30°.

7.1.4 Preparing Power Wheelchairs with Back Angle
Adjustment for Transport
To obtain the folding size, the following must be done with
the back angle adjustment:
n Release the cross bolt at the lower end of the drive unit
(by pushing up the lever, see arrow in Figure 33).
n Remove the bolt from the holder.
n Remove the side panels and fold down the seat back
onto the seat bottom.
