Engaging the caster wheel swivel lock:
n Slightly rotate the folding lever on the anterior frame to
the side, allowing it to jump out of the mid-position.
n The bolt below the anterior frame extends and engages
in the front caster fork as soon as the wheelchair reach-
es the straight ahead position (see Figure 36, left photo).
Now the power wheelchair can only drive straight forward
or backward.
Releasing the caster wheel swivel lock:
n Turn the folding lever back to its mid-position; the front
caster fork is released so it can move freely.
n The lever engages in the centre of the anterior frame in
an unlocked position (see Figure 36, right photo).

INFORMATION
The seat function actuators are not intended for continu-
ous use, but only for short-term limited operation. General
recommendation: At maximum load capacity, 10 seconds
of operation should be followed by 90 seconds of idle
time. The electric seat functions are considered independ-
ently of the driving function for this purpose.
