driving up slopes or over obstacles, a tilted seat must be
lowered to its basic position, the lift seat must be in its

CAUTION
Risk of tipping due to incorrect back angle adjustment.
When standing still, the back rest may be inclined to the
rear up to 30° only. During driving on level ground, the
back rest may be inclined to the rear by up to 20° only.
INFORMATION
For safe operation, please also observe the information in
Section 2.3 "General Safety Information" and Section 2.5
"Safety Requirements for Operation".
The power wheelchair can be equipped with various Re-
caro® seat models.
To adjust the back angle of a Recaro® seat model, use the
rotary handle on the right or left side of the back rest.
A release handle is used to fold down the back rest. It is lo-
cated on the side of the back rest. By pulling the release
handle upward, the back rest can be folded down to the
front. The back rest automatically locks in place when it is
brought into its initial position. Verify that the back rest is
securely locked in place every time it has been unlocked.
The Recaro® seat can be equipped with an electric back
angle adjustment option. This function is activated using the
control unit in the "additional function" mode.
