Accessories
To avoid permanent pressure loads or to ensure anti-shock 
positioning,  the  power  wheelchair  offers  the  possibility  of 
mounting electrically adjustable footrests (Figure 37). With 
the control unit in "additional function" mode, the right and 
left footrest can be selected separately or simultaneously. To 
adjust them, use the joystick.
The amount of space available for getting into or out of the 
wheelchair can be increased by flipping the footplates up.

7.5 Mechanically Elevating Footrest
The B600 power wheelchair can be equipped with mechan-
ically elevating footrests (see Figure 38).
To elevate the footrest:
  n Activate the release lever on the footrest (the gas com-
pression spring is activated, see arrow in Figure 38).
  n Move the footrest into the desired position.
  n Allow the release lever to engage (the gas compression 
spring is deactivated).
