Risk of injury if the locking bolts are not engaged. When
mounting the Recaro® seat, the seat adapter must be se-
curely attached to the retainer bushings. The anterior lock-
ing bolts have to snap into place up to the key ring.
n Place the posterior edge of the Recaro® seat on the end
of the seat frame.
n Slide the seat forward until the posterior seat adapter
hangs in the retainer bushings.
n Tilt the seat ahead until the locking bolts engage with
the seat frame up to the key ring.
7.2 Caster Wheel Suspension
The B600 power wheelchair is equipped with drive wheel
suspension as standard equipment. A front wheel suspen-
sion option is available to increase driving comfort. A spring
/ damping element on each of the two caster wheels im-
proves driving comfort, especially when driving over uneven
surfaces, and improves traction (Figure 35).

7.3 Caster Wheel Swivel Lock
To navigate ramps or enter lifts, the wheelchair must be
driven in completely straight line. An option that locks the
caster wheels in the straight ahead position so that turning
is impossible is available for the B600 power wheelchair.
