Attaching the Recaro® Seat to the Chassis
CAUTION
Risk of injury if the locking bolts are not engaged. When 
mounting the Recaro® seat, the seat adapter must be se-
curely attached to the retainer bushings. The anterior lock-
ing bolts have to snap into place up to the key ring.
  n Place the posterior edge of the Recaro® seat on the end 
of the seat frame.
  n Slide the seat forward until the posterior seat adapter 
hangs in the retainer bushings.
  n Tilt the seat ahead until the locking bolts engage with 
the seat frame up to the key ring.
7.2 Caster Wheel Suspension
The  B600  power  wheelchair  is  equipped  with  drive  wheel 
suspension as standard equipment. A front wheel suspen-
sion option is available to increase driving comfort. A spring 
/  damping  element  on  each  of  the  two  caster  wheels  im-
proves driving comfort, especially when driving over uneven 
surfaces, and improves traction (Figure 35).

7.3 Caster Wheel Swivel Lock
To  navigate  ramps  or  enter  lifts,  the  wheelchair  must  be 
driven  in  completely  straight  line.  An  option  that  locks  the 
caster wheels in the straight ahead position so that turning 
is impossible is available for the B600 power wheelchair.
