Operation
Figure 21 Brake release
1  Brake release bolt
Now the brake release lever has been released and can be 
pushed ahead to the stop. In this position, the control unit 
will recognise that the brake has been released and auto-
matically  deactivate  the  driving  function.  As  soon  as  the 
joystick  is  deflected,  a  warning  will  appear  on  the  LCD 
monitor.
  Once the brake release lever has been released, 
INFORMATION
all braking systems are deactivated.

Activating the brake
To activate the brake, push the brake release lever up until 
the brake release bolt engages (see Figure 22). To reacti-
vate the driving function, switch the wheelchair control unit 
off and then back on.
