WARNING
Risk of injury due to improper transportation. Pre-in-
stalled vehicle seats with corresponding restraint systems
offer optimum protection for occupants in case of an ac-
cident. The B600 power wheelchair should only be used
as a seat in a vehicle for the disabled in exceptional cases,
and  only  in  conjunction  with  the  safety  elements  and  re-
straint  systems  offered  by  Otto  Bock.  For  more  informa-
tion, please refer to our brochure "Using your Wheelchair
/ Seating Shell Mobility Base or Buggy for Transportation
in a Vehicle for the Disabled", article no. 646D158.
CAUTION
Risk of injury due to insufficient restraints. Secure  the
power wheelchair during transportation in another vehicle
by tightening the tensioning straps properly.
The frame of the power wheelchair has 4 eyelets for the at-
tachment of tensioning straps.
B600
Before  transporting  the  power  wheelchair,  switch  off  the
controls and engage the brake.
You can reduce the size (Figure 5) of the power wheelchair
for transportation by folding down the back rest and remov-
ing the side panels and footrests (see Section 6.1).

Tyres  contain  chemical  substances  that  can  react  to  other
chemical substances (such as cleaning agents, acids, etc.).
Black tyres also contain soot particles.
The power wheelchair must be stored in a dry place.
