Initial operation

WARNING
Risk of suffocation. Packaging materials must be kept out
of reach of children.
All components must be checked for completeness (see fig-
ure 1) and functionality prior to initial operation. The batter-
ies must be charged if necessary (see section 6.5 / 6.5.1).
Ensure that the battery cable is seated securely in the plug
(fig. 2, item 10) or push the cable into the plug if necessary.

Handing over the product

WARNING
Risk of injury due to lack of instruction. Instruct the user
or the attendant in the proper use of the product when
handing it over.
The following steps must be performed for the safe delivery
of the wheelchair:
„ Have the user get into the product and perform a trial
seat fitting. Pay special attention to proper positioning
according to medical considerations.
„ The user and any attendants must be instructed in safe
use of the product. In particular, these instructions for
use are to be used.
„ The instructions for use must be given to the user or an
attendant upon delivery of the product.
„ The user or attendant should acknowledge that they
have been instructed in how to use the product and were
informed of the residual risks.
